My idea was to create a wayfinding system consisting of static signage with built in digital screens and cyclist information hubs. The screens display personal route information decided by the cyclist. Cyclists are able to personalize the information that they want to display at a cyclist information hub. The system works in conjuction with the existing cycle hire docking stations in the city. The bikes have built in RFID chips that store the cyclists personal route information. The signage senses when the cyclist is approaching. The screens on the signage display their information that is stored in the RFID chip. Cycle lanes are coloured according to their orientation within the city.

Social Notworking is a campaign addressing the problems with social networking. The campaign encourages children to:

• Strengthen their real life friendships and
social networks.

• Do more with their time.

I wanted to target young children who are just becoming familiar with the internet and social networking as well as the parents of children. My idea was to create a campaign that consists of a set resources for children, schools, youth clubs and after school clubs. The set of resources would consist of:

• Information leaflet

• Social Skills Booklet

• Step-by-step activity guides in the form of cards

• Posters showing the qualities of face to face communication

• Website

• iPad App

The brief was to design a Recipe book aimed at Young Vegetarians.

I designed the recipes to fit within a fixed grid that made the information manageable and kept the recipe pages consistent.

I displayed each step vital to completing the recipes in an Illustrative style that is easy to understand and would keep a younger audience engaged.

This A2 poster design was for a visiting lecture by Michael Johnson at Ravensbourne.

The brief restricted me to using the typeface Univers in monochrome. This allowed me to focus on the fundamentals of using typography and designing layouts.

I had to create an illustrated interpretation of two musical tracks that can be experienced by the viewer in an unconventional and pioneering way. I had to demonstrate my vision of a brave new world for illustration in music. I wanted the visualisation that I created for each track to be a static piece aswell as being animated. My Idea was to visualise the two tracks in the form of a technical diagram showing the exact structure of the track, the placement of the sounds and the properties of the sounds. Each circular diagram represents an 8 bar section of the track. I chose to illustrate two drum and bass tracks by the artist Jubei.

The brief was to devise a wayfinding system for The O2 that stands clear above the visual noise and inconsistency.

The solution to this was a 4 sided transparent pillar, that would house the signage and information hubs. Dividing The O2 into 3 zones makes navigating the building easier. Each hub is coloured according to the zone it is in. There are also hubs surrounding The O2, so that visitors are familiar with the space before they enter.

The hubs can be used to map routes to places within the dome. They send directions to the users phone.

Strips of light show the boundary of each zone. The augmented reality application uses these strips of light to direct visitors to their selected destination.

This branding project required me to design an identity for an Eco-Airline for corporate clients in the United Kingdom.

I selected 3 brand values that best suited the brands identity which would then go on to determine the look and feel of the brand. These values were; Smart, Honest and Convenient.

From these values I decided to call the company 'Pure Airlines'. I then had to design a brand manual explaining the brand and how to use the brand correctly.
